Students will watch the Academy Award winning movie Europa Europa, which depicts a true story of a young Jewish boy who has to take on a false persona of a Nazi youth in order to survive in Germany in the 1930's
Rationale:
The movie paints a clear picture of the various influences controlling the German people as well as some of the military policies which dictated the treatment of people
Evidence:
Understanding of the various symbolic scenes of the movie will demonstrate a deeper understanding of the material
